Program Day Tour To Aswan From Luxor with Egypt excursions

We Will pick you up from your Hotel in Luxor with your personal tour guide and then by air-conditioned vehicle to the majestic Edfu Temple dedicated to Horus which is considered to be the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt.

According to the Egyptian myths, it was the place where the falcon-headed god Horus revenged the murder of his father Osiris by killing Seth,

Then Drive on to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo standing on high grounds overlooking the Nile,

It differs from other Temples because of its double entrance, each one is dedicated to a divinity: ‘Haroeris’ with his falcon head and ‘ Sobek ‘ with it’s crocodile head, The Temple was built in honor of these two deities,

Sobek being known as the God of fertility and creator of the world, and Haroeris or the ancient falcon-headed Horus. Lunch will be served at a good quality restaurant in Aswan.

Move on to visit Philae Temple which was built on the honor of Goddess Isis the chief deity of the island. End your day with a visit to the High Dam an engineering miracle built in 1960 protecting Egypt from annual floods from the Nile.

Around 4:00 pm drive back to your hotel in Luxor or drop off to your hotel in Aswan.
